Introducing the First Induction Hob with Integrated Extraction for Compact Kitchens

Designed to cater to the needs of those who demand excellence even in smaller spaces, the NikolaTesla Fit is a unique addition to Elica's successful NikolaTesla range. It is the first induction hob with integrated extraction that can be installed in 60-cm wide base units, with an overall surface area of 60 or 72 cm. This innovative design is available in two versions, making it a versatile solution for various kitchen configurations.

The unique properties of the NikolaTesla Fit lie in its compact design and integrated technology. Despite its small size, it does not compromise on performance. The heart of the extraction unit is completely concealed within the induction hob, and can be activated with a simple touch. This design allows for easy access to the grease and odour filters for servicing, ensuring the product's longevity and efficiency.

Constructed with stainless steel, black glass, and PP, the NikolaTesla Fit is not only functional but also aesthetically pleasing. The linear ceramic glass surface is easy to clean, while the central aesthetic element can be removed and washed. This design also includes a special drain valve underneath for removing any excess liquid, further enhancing its ease of maintenance.

The development of the NikolaTesla Fit took place over a year in Fabriano. The design team, led by Fabrizio Crisa, faced the challenge of balancing performance, functionality, ergonomics, technology, compact size, and versatility. The result is a product with clean and essential lines, embodying a formal synthesis of all these elements.

The NikolaTesla Fit has been recognized for its innovative design, winning the Platinum A' Home Appliances Design Award in 2021. This prestigious award recognizes world-class, exceptional, and highly innovative designs that contribute to societal wellbeing and push the boundaries of art, science, design, and technology.
